Laura Allegue is a Course Lead in the MITx MicroMasters Program in Supply Chain Management, Coordinates the customized SCM online courses for company cohorts, and supports Research on Sustainability and Omnichannel Education at the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics.
Laura has over twelve years of experience in procurement, leading sourcing of strategic services in the industry. Her industry experience, combined with her academic background, shape her strong profile and research interest in sustainable and responsible sourcing, contract negotiation, risk analysis, and cost control applied to procurement processes.
Laura received her Master of Applied Sciences in Supply Chain Management from MIT and her Master of Business Administration from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Prior to coming to MIT, Laura oversaw the Services Category at Yamana Gold for the South America region.
